The quality of the final printed product is directly dependent on the quality of the artwork provided. Unfortunately, there is a limit to how much artwork can be enhanced without affecting quality. We cannot be held responsible for subpar print results caused by low-resolution or poor-quality files submitted for production.
To help achieve the best possible print quality, please follow these artwork guidelines:
- Accepted file types: .AI, PDF, EPS, or high-resolution JPEG/PNG
- Minimum resolution: 300 dpi at actual print size
- Color mode: CMYK (not RGB)
- Submit original artwork files whenever possible
- Files placed into Microsoft Word documents cannot be used
- Low-resolution artwork may require recreation for an additional fee beyond the minimum setup fee
Vector files such as AI, PDF, and EPS generally provide the highest quality results because they can be resized without losing image quality. Artwork copied from websites is often too low in resolution for professional printing. PDF files created by scanning a document may also be unsuitable for production. If you were not supplied with vector files, contact your logo designer to request the original artwork.

If you're unsure whether a surface is compatible, test it first with a standard refrigerator magnet. If the refrigerator magnet sticks securely, the area may be suitable for a vehicle magnet. If not, a vehicle decal may be the better option.
Vehicle surfaces should be smooth, clean, and dust free before application. To help protect the vehicle finish, remove and reapply the magnet every 2-3 days. Both the vehicle surface and the back of the magnet should be cleaned weekly with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Some newer vehicles are manufactured with lower steel content, which may reduce or prevent magnetic hold. Areas that have undergone body repair may also reduce adhesion due to filler materials beneath the paint. Testing the intended placement area with a refrigerator magnet before ordering is strongly recommended.
